Also first posted pronz, so YAY me.

She can feel herself acting strangely, but she can’t seem to stop. She ends up tucking herself into a ball, collapsing into herself when anyone so much as looks at her. This is how he left her, what he’s made her.

Her scar is worse this time around, nearly encompassing the entire top half of her head. The burns travel down the sides of her back, a raised pattern tracing a line down her scapulas. She feels ugly. What’s worse is that she feels weak.

She happens upon him on accident. She’s been running for so long that it never occurred to her that she’d find someone she knew. It’s midnight, and they’re in some greasy spoon off the highway. He’s the same; he’s so devastatingly pretty for a man, and so very burdened. She could always tell just by looking at him. She knows what happened to him, though she forgets the exact circumstances in which she came to know. Sometime after Bennet had taken her to that cabin to heal, at least. She was out of it a lot at that time, and Bennet’s stories were the only things that kept her sane.

She spots him before he sees her, and she quickly hides behind a mass of straggly platinum hair, not wanting him to see her like this. But on her way out of the restaurant past his table, she trips and, he being him, he catches her in his arms.

“Elle?”

His voice is the same, a soft lilting in that warm accent that comforts her. She looks up and sees his concerned gaze, those soft eyes that are so familiar, and promptly bursts into tears. He picks her up in his arms in a way that seems effortless and brings her outside. His hands pat his pockets and he swears softly.

“Do you have your keys?” he asks, gently placing his hands on her shoulders. Wordlessly she hands him the two plain keys. He pauses to look at them, no doubt remembering the key chain she used to have, full of pink bears and fluffy balls. He unlocks the car, mercifully saying nothing and turns to open her door. She looks at the empty seat and back to him. She remembers the way he used to look at her, the mix of subtle fear and unadulterated curiosity, with the slightest hint of attraction. Now it is concern, pity. And that stirred something in her; something like wakening up the Elle she thought really had been killed.

“No,” she grounds out, and pushes him back. He stumbles in surprise, falling back against the opened door.

“Elle, what --” he asks, but before he could finish she presses her lips against his roughly. She pulls back with his lip between her teeth.

“Don’t pity me, fight club. Don’t you dare,” she whispers, her voice shakier than she would have liked. Her eyes are still red and her cheeks still damp, but she can feel the power rising within as she sees Mohinder’s eyes darken.

“What do you want then?” he asks, his voice huskier. His lip is blood stained and her tongue peeks out to reach the metallic taste. He groans deep in his throat, his arms coming around to pull her closer. She unbuttons his shirt front, her fingers playing lightly against the muscles as he tenses beneath her touch. She stays just out of reach as he leans to catch her lips again.

She wants to prove she is better, wants to prove she is the same person. She works on unbuttoning the slacks he has on and his hands slip under her cheap tank. She shudders as he traces up the scars, feeling even more insecure than ever, until she realizes that he isn’t pulling away. Instead he pulls the shirt over her head and places his palms over the imprints. He begins to stroke her back in a way that feels more intimate than the fact that he is trailing open mouthed kisses across her breasts.

“God, you’re gorgeous,” he murmurs softly, pulling away the cup of her bra to envelope a pert nipple into his warm mouth. She gasps, and she isn’t sure if it’s because of the action or the statement. It’s all too … something. Something she doesn’t like, or doesn’t want to like. She pushes him again, this time to the seat of the car.

He seems confused for a moment until she shimmies out of her jeans and panties. She crawls on top of him and finishes removing his pants. They are lying awkwardly now, his back against the clutch and his legs half out of the car. They chuckle in nervousness, and she leans forward to cover her face with her hair, suddenly shy. He brushes it back and leans up to kiss her sweetly on the lips and then down her body. He hesitates from doing anything else, and it occurs to her that he is leaving her in charge.

She sits up and undulates her hips to grind herself against his cock, having it suddenly occur to her that she is angled with her clit up against him. He groans and throws his head back, curls bouncing as he does so, his eyes squeezing shut. “Elle, fuck, I – I need to -- get in the backseat,” he grinds out through his teeth. She fumbles against the side in a haze and the seat falls back with a muted slap. She crawls backwards and sideways against the window, her elbows supporting herself up. She is wet already; her whole body is throbbing as she watches him try in vain to collect himself. His body looks lithe and powerful all at once as he settles over her, and without warning he is inside of her to the hilt. She gasps and falls backwards completely, her inner muscles spasming, her orgasm taking her by complete surprise. He’s barely touched her, but she needs him and this so much, too much.

She looks up and her vision is clouded, but she sees him, a sort of awe in his eyes. And then there is a self-satisfied smirk on his face that seems almost out of place. “Better than Maya?” she ground out harshly as she clenches around him, wanting to wipe it away. There is a hint of jealousy as she recalls the beautiful, exotic woman. She may not be as pretty anymore, but she could be better at this at least.

His eyebrows raise and he moves slightly within her causing her to inhale sharply. His fingers play lightly against her ribs before coming down to trace her clit. She arches at his touch and he leans down to her ear as he pulls out slightly before thrusting forcefully back in. Her head hits the door as he does, but she can’t care.

“Better than Sylar?” he bites back. His jealousy isn’t as subtle.

His hands grab her waist and with surprising ease he flips them so that she is back on top. She rides him shallowly, not wanting to be separate from him. After a while her growls and grips her hips tightly to guide her at a faster, deeper pace. Her breaths come shorter and she can feel their combined sweat collecting between her breasts that are bouncing in time with his frantic upward thrusts.

“Oh, God,” she sighs in contentment as one hand comes to tweak at her nipples, the other still grasping her ass to push her up and down, reminding her of the fact that he is powered now even if he is only using it conservatively. She hadn’t used her own in so long, but she could feel it building in her at the same rate as her next orgasm. She flickers once and he hisses, leaning up to hold her closer and find a position that hits her even deeper, even harder.

“Look at me,” he breathes out and her eyes meet his and suddenly she’s coming again, hard. She thinks she cried out, she’s not completely sure, but she knows she releases a bolt of electricity down his spine. His thrusts are now short and he shouts her name in a choked gasp, filling her up.

Lazily he kisses her deeply and she returns it. He is holding her so tightly that she can scarcely breathe, but she can’t find the will to care and only snuggles deeper.

“You are so beautiful. And there is no comparison,” he whispers to her hotly. She grins in a way the old Elle would have as she feels his dick twitch within her.

“Likewise, Suresh.”
.

And after thirty minutes and one and a half sentences, I realize how bad I fail!!! GAHH! This was supposed to be a short, serious 3-4 page story. It is now 9 pages and I can't make it end!!! It has taken on some weird twisted life of its own, that involves more characters than planned, and more plot than planned. And now I don't know what to do with the flipping story because of its random life-ness. More Molly? Actually include Mohinder as a character? How do I do these things??? WORK, BRAIN, I COMMAND THEE!!!
So, yeah. Tim's there to help, and most of the time what he says is what the judges actually say. So, she decides to attack him because he asked a total innocuous question? Could she be more of a bitch? I think not. I wanted her gone. I still want her gone. Judges, that was your window! Ignore 3rd person Suede for the moment!
Still in love with my Jerell. While Korto needed a win, and her design was awesome, I really wanted Jerell to win. Did you see Kinley?? She didn't look Doris Day! Loved Leanne's comment that he should wear a wig so it's all girls at Bryant Park. Oh, Leanne, I do enjoy your nerdy self!

Totally unrelated, but I loved Kit's look for the car challenge. Spoilers for Season 2 involved.
Author's Note: So I was totally inspired by this fic on FF.net and decided to write a companion for it (with author permission). This is my first step in Heroes fic (yippee!!!!) and I think it's rather good for two hours of work <strike>while watching "House."</strike> The original is in Mohinder's POV, so read that one if you will.

URL to Guilty: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4279012/1/

She wakes to movement at her side and warmth dissolving from the sheets. She knows enough not to stir, not to shiver in the new chill of the early morning. She pauses a breathless moment, listening to the rustle of clothing. Finally she can’t take it and slips her eyes half open. As she guessed, he is nearly dressed and fumbling for the door. His eyes sweep across her form once more and she hesitates before closing her eyes shut once again. It’s only once she hears the front door creak open and shut that she sits up, pulling the sheets close to her body. She resists the urge to cry, knowing for a fact that it’s better this way.

As much as she would like to have had a relationship with him beyond last night, she knew it wouldn’t be possible. It certainly wasn’t why she was sent there in the first place. No, she was sent to observe and make sure thing didn’t get out of hand – not to get this close.

It takes her nearly an hour to rise from the bed. She winces at the ache she feels, but decides to relish it, as it is likely the only thing she will have to remember him. Despite her orders and her own emotions, she still hopes he won’t come back to the peril that lurks in New York. He is intelligent and accomplished and, better still, safe in India; he didn’t deserve being in constant danger from the Sylars of the world.

After gaining Isaac’s trust, she walks in a fog through the Company facilities. Bennet has noticed, of course, but he is more wrapped up in the impending Homecoming than in her inconsistencies. She receives a few confused glances, but nothing more.

She uses her powers on Isaac. After, she bends over heaving against the sink in the storeroom, tears streaming down her face. She had been promised, promised, that she would never have to use her powers again. It was far too tempting, and even the small relapse drained her. And yet, she realizes as she presses her back into the wall and curls her legs into her body, this experience is the first time she was allowed to look beyond that selfish night she let herself have.

A week later, Bennet nonchalantly tells her that Mohinder has returned. There is a question in his eye, betraying his attempt at normalcy. She swallows thickly and sends up a silent prayer that he remains safe, and doesn’t address Bennet’s sidelong glance. She is walking back to her room after that conversation when Thompson stops her with a hand to the shoulder and a smirk on his face. Her eyes finally find what he is holding in his hand and her stomach plummets. Now she understands the smugness surrounding him. He knows she’s pregnant.

She is thrust into a cell without further thought. She caresses her belly, grateful for the one gift she has left. But she fears for their safety. She knows the Company would not outright hurt her or her child as long as she cooperates. But she also knows that if her child does exhibit powers, it would mean testing and experimenting that could end with a person much like Elle.

She cries at her ultrasound, and it was as typical as any new mother at the first sight of their growing child. And she wishes so hard that he could be there, clutching her hand with a shimmer in his deep eyes, seeing the tiny form and hearing the rapid beating. Instead the technician is cold, leaving her without a second glance. And that’s when she realizes the tears aren’t just from happiness.

She can’t use her powers here, she found. She had tried numerous times. But her Voice never came, and the people never obeyed. But she is allowed to grin when she is nearly three months along and overhears that Bennet killed Thompson. She dreams of karma, destiny, and a place carved out in her heart for the life she wants.

Time is passed only through the growth in her belly and the occasional news Elle brings. She had once thought the girl far too sadistic, far too sociopathic to have a sensitivity. But Eden recognizes the loneliness in her and empathizes. It only helps her in this matter, as Elle is all too willing to share information. And Eden craves it, even if she feels a sting with the mention of her new partner.

Her hair is longer now, a result of time and hormones. It is nearly as long as it was before Bennet found her (before Chandra, before lizard Mohinder, before him). She twirls it around her finger with one hand resting on the bump and wonders if her child would have that color or texture of hair. And she conjures up his image in her mind to meld their looks together to form their child, but she finds that it has been too long, and his image has faded. She cries again, long shuddering sobs at the thought. It doesn’t help.

It doesn’t hurt as much as she would have thought when her water breaks and the first contractions seize her one night. She doesn’t think much about it at first, but then begins to worry as waves of warmth travel through her abdomen after each moment of pain. Healing warmth.

Surprisingly, Elle is by her side, ever more human under his guidance. When her daughter is finally born, she doesn’t cry. She simply sucks in a deep breath and sighs, large eyes seeking the world beyond what she knew. Eden cradles her in her arms, and stares down at her, silently taking in what makes the tiny being hers. She notes the shape of her eyes, the dimples in her cheeks. Her eyes are newborn blue, but Eden knows they will change. What she finds the most is the things she hoped for – the color in her skin, the darkness of her hair, and the shape of her lips. She is Mohinder, her own little piece.

They are waiting, she can tell. Watching and waiting for the moment when her daughter, her little Evie, would develop a power. She already knew that she would exhibit one. The spontaneous healing at her birth was proof enough. Evie has little problems; she rarely cries, and when she wakes in the dark it doesn’t matter since Eden often stares at her for half the night in wonderment anyway.

She is nearly three months old when the lock slides to her door (cell). Elle slips inside with a blanket tucked under her arm, which would be no shock if it wasn’t 3 am and if her eyes weren’t so clouded.

“Here,” she says simply, handing her a cup of pills. Eden takes it warily, but downs them without trouble. Elle wraps Evie in the soft pink and white blanket she came in with and then hands the bundle to Eden. Evie peers at her with her large curious dark eyes but doesn’t make a sound.

“Elle, what –“ she begins, but she shakes her head. The blonde pushes a ticket into her hands and she looks down to see it is for a one-way flight to New York. She understands immediately. Elle is giving her an escape.

She has nothing packed and manages to convince a flight attendant to procure her a car seat, so she is seated in the plane almost immediately. The five-hour flight only gives her too much time to think. She busies herself with her daughter as a ball of nervousness grows and envelops her.

She really can’t remember just how she got to his door, but before she can make herself stop, she is knocking on the door with one hand and balancing Evie with the other. The door still has that creak as it opens, looking like it might fall apart with the slightest touch. It’s the look of him that startles her.

He is still that striking, but he is also worn, tired, defeated. His eyes light as he sees her, the confusion bright inside them. She stares right back, re-memorizing him as she recognizes the similarities in her daughter.

And that’s when his eyes flicker down to Evie. He seems stunned, and she watches as his jaw clenches and his Adam’s apple bobs up and down.

Finally he forces out an “is she ….” He trails off and pushes the blanket away from her face. Her heart twists as he takes in the look of his daughter, his mouth parted in shock as he takes in tiny features that she has studied before.

Feeling embarrassed, she gently places her in his arms and her heart swells as he sucks in a breath at the moment. She doesn’t dare say a word as father and daughter stare into each other’s matching eyes to acquaint themselves.

He stumbles back a few steps and collapses into a kitchen chair. She steps inside the apartment, almost unwilling, feeling like she didn’t belong. Suddenly all her fantasies were silly; surely they hadn’t known each other long enough to have truly felt that way for one another. But then his eyes meet hers with the emotion she had felt every day since they had met. She has to glance away, not sure she is deserving of any of it.

“I owe you both an apology.”

She looks back into his eyes, forcing back every emotion. “Maybe. But I owe you more.”

The End

I am bored. Since I have no entries as of yet, I have decided to make the ultimate I-am-bored post. Wait for it, WAIT for it ....

So, today was interesting. I took the car out for the second time today. You see, I am 21 years old and yet didn't find it necessary to get my license (driver's unfortunately, that killing license just won't go through ...) until last Friday. So, in the most boring of uses, I took the car to go to work and class.

Today was Exam III of physio. And while I know that, really, I will need to know these things as a nurse, I would really rather not. It's both tedius and, well, boring. I mean, it's no statistics, but still. At least next week is reproduction and I'll at least have my friend making comments about her very favorite word (gonads, in case you were wondering).

Renewed interest in going to Paris. Of course, this never really stopped, but a old high school friend just showed us all pictures of her Parisian adventure and I'm incredibly jealous. Not fair. I want to do it all. Just need to learn French without it sounding ... German. Screw Swiss heritage!!! Couldn't the Mexican or even the Portugues side take over? Latin language accents have to be better than the ugliness that is German.

Anyway ...

"Family Guy" is playing in the background. I'd watch it, but it comes on like 6 times today and I've seen this one at least twice. I've watched far too much TV today. 2 of "Just Shoot Me," 2 of "Cash Cab," a "Friends," and "Two and a Half Men." Least it wasn't ANTM night, so no tacking on of another hour. Good break from all the studying, though.

I have 5, count 'em, 5 pucture marks on all five fingers of my left hand. Lancets are interesting. Especially when no one else in your lab group is brave enough to take a prick. It looks like a tiny murder scene when I spread the drops on parafin. Interesting.

Because of my new driver's status, my friend took me out for drinks (drinks? driving? do go on...). I tried something new ... a Washington Apple. Sucks. Could have been the bartender, could have been the Crown Royal, could have been the pucker. Blech. No more. Sticking with appletinis (easy on the tini!), margaritas, and .... other stuff.

It's interesting when you think of our town's claim to fame. We have our "Kite Runner," we have MC Hammer (or had, rather ... his mansion's still here), and we have Kristi Yamaguchi. Working with a dentist, we hear a lot about her and Dr. Y. Ah, Fremont and it's lameness ... even though we have two major cities, 3 international airports beaches, mountains, and even vineyards within an hour.

So ... boredom post thus endeth, only because I can only babble on for so long ...
